A Little Bit of Random

I have a bag of forty two Roy’s Story Cubes. They are six sided dice that you can roll and get a random image. If you roll three you might get a pyramid, chicken, first aid kit. I really love these things. They are like rolling boulders that break loose that feeling of being stuck.

I have been wanting to write more and more because I think this helps me organize my thoughts and really sets me up to be more successful in the long run. Imagine crafting an email that gets you a ten thousand dollar contract. What if you were able to organize your thoughts on the fly. Maybe you want to write a story that moves people. A little bit or randomness can get the ball rolling. Combine randomness with constraint and you got some seeds of creativity.

As a note I don’t want to just produce more words. I want to produce the right ones.
